Post Graduate Course in Homeopathy PG Hom. London

The College offers a Post Graduate Course of one year duration, leading to award of the Post Graduation in Homeopathy – PG Hom. London

Eligibility

The general entry requirements for the course are:

BHMS (5½ year course) with one year compulsory internship.

DHMS (4½ year course) with good clinical experience or 2 years postgraduate education.

 B.Sc. in Homeopathic medicine or other related subjects

English language qualification is required if it is not the native language.

Candidates applying for the Post Graduate Course must have a Diploma or Degree from a recognised school of homeopathy.

Course Layout

Course is divided into three Intensive Modules:

i) THEORETICAL (Full time 250 hours)

ii) CLINICAL (Full time 500 Hours)

iii) THESIS/DISSERTATION (Projects, must be completed within 6 months)

*Practitioners who have been in practice for more than 3 years may claim for credit transfer for theoretical & clinical module and can complete theoretical studies in two / three months.

**Homeopaths qualified with up to 3 years clinical practice have mandatory requirement to complete all three modules.

Medicine-evolution with emphasis on Hahnemann’s history

Oganon of Medicine With Homeopathy Philosophy
Principles and practice of Hahnemannian concept of Homeopathy, Philosophy, Practice of Homeopathy in Medicine, Miasms, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology

Homeopathy Materia Medica Including Applied Aspects
Advanced and comparative M.M, Practice of Homeopathy in Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology

Reperatory
Advanced Case taking, repertories & repertorization, computerised repertorisation

Practice of Medicine
General medicine and practice of Homeopathy in General medicine including tropical medicine, Diagnosis and miasmatic approach to medicine

Method of Teaching
Regular tutorials are arranged throughout each course to enable students to exchange views with the College staff and for remedial instruction. Clinical training will be scheduled throughout the year of the course of studies under the supervision of qualified homeopaths. It involves training on case taking, clinical studies and prescribing.

Clinical Experience
Students will gain requisite clinical experience through observation and case analysis.

Individual Projects
Every student will be assigned a project which should be completed three months before the end of the course. Each student must also present a short oral dissertation on the subject of his or her thesis.

Award
Upon completion of the Postgraduate Examination and submission of thesis students will be awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Homeopathy PG Hom. London by the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy.
